Inverted Locust the Viparita Shalabhasana
Inverted Locust, or Viparita Shalabhasana, is a restorative yoga pose with numerous beneficial properties. It helps to relax and ease the body and mind, stimulates the thyroid and parathyroid glands, strengthens the back, and can be used as a counter pose for intense backbends. Practicing this pose also helps to improve digestion, enhance the flexibility of the spine, and balance the anterior and posterior chains of the body. Additionally, Inverted Locust helps activate the pelvic floor muscles, resulting in overall body rejuvenation.
