Plow the Halasana Plough
The Halasana Plough or Plough Pose is an effective yoga asana that works to increase flexibility and strength all throughout the body. This pose helps to strengthen the core, while also elongating the spine, shoulders, arms, legs and hips. It gives a gentle inversion that promotes energy and encourages release of tension in the body and mind, while regulating blood flow. This pose is particularly beneficial for digestion and menstrual health, and is also known to help with back pain and anxiety. Though relatively easy to master, it is nonetheless an incredibly powerful pose.
