Awkward Chair the Fierce

Utkatasana, or the Chair Pose, is a dynamic and powerful yogic asana which strengthens and tones the entire body, especially the muscles of the legs, glutes, and spine. The pose increases the flexibility of the body and improves balance while enabling the practitioner to deepen his/her concentration and tranquilizes the mind. Despite its relative complexity, even new practitioners can benefit from the pose, as it can be adapted to fit each person's level of ability. This pose is said to improve digestion, metabolism, increase strength and invigorate overall wellbeing.
