The Yoga Bridge Pose or Setu Bandha Sarvangasana is a complex yet restorative yoga posture with many benefits. Through extending the spine and opening the chest, it helps stimulate the respiratory, circulatory, and nervous systems. It strengthens the muscles in the legs, hips, and buttocks, and helps reduce stress and fatigue. It also helps with digestion, headaches, and insomnia, making it a great weapon against modern ailments. This pose is not suitable for women in their first trimester of pregnancy.
